I didn't build this from a business plan. I built it from a childhood spent helping my mom hold an entire household and a business together, learning to see what needed doing before anyone asked.
How I became the anticipator.
My mom was a single parent building a business from nothing. While she built, I was right there with her.
I saw every step: the planning, the problem-solving, the late nights figuring out cash flow, the mental load of running a business and a household at the same time. I didn't just watch. I helped wherever I could, with the business, and at home.
By the time I was a teenager, I was booking appointments, restocking what we were running low on, getting dinner started before she walked in the door. Not because I was asked. Because I saw it coming. The deadline. The empty fridge. The thing she'd forgotten she was worried about.
That's the part most people miss: doing the task is easy. Seeing it before it becomes a crisis, that's the real work. I'd been doing it my whole life, alongside her, before I ever learned it had a name: mental load.
